In this lesson:
Students learn how to use the webcam and PhotoBooth to take a picture of themselves.
Practice dragging and dropping files.
Write their name in a text box using the Shift key to make an uppercase letter.
Explore the alphabet keys on the keyboard.
ABC Me Students learn how to write their name in a text box while using the Shift Key to make an uppercase letter. They also use PhotoBooth to take a picture of themselves and learn about basic drag and drop functioning to move and rename the image. All classes use Pixie 2 or Pixie 3 and learn about common publishing tools like imbedded web cams, paint tools, stickers, and "text to speech." A few classes may write their names and the ABC's with Microsoft Word. An interactive PowerPoint will be created as a final project and students will learn how to use the PowerPoint presentation tools as they view their final projects independently.
